I've been using the InputDog extension, as the version of Chromium in Awesomium doesn't even support gamepads. Quick question, can you pretty please try out the html5 gamepad API with your project? You might have to enable the flag for it. Your project will be far better off as it's a more recent version of Chromium, where as Awesomium is dead and it uses a very outdated version in their DLLs (plus communication with their devs seems to be a ghost town with tumbleweed). It includes support for communicating between GameMaker and the browser process (for JS events, etc). I've got an almost-finished project for getting Awesomium (which is also Chromium) working in GameMaker Studio, if you're interested in grabbing the source-code from that and merging it into yours. Check out the extension called "Graphics Utilities" by Dragon47, his source-code will help you get this working with the application surface 's very useful.
